šta kažete za naziv izložbe slika, izložba vizuelnog narativa summertime-a,

predstaviće se dve različite vremenske faze slika autorke, i po koji crtež, možda,

slamčice kao latice ruže, svuda posute,

ambijentalna instalacija i proces,

slikarski proces, na licu mesta

pored slika vremenskog taloga i....

svuda kreativni pogledi letnjeg sunca

sa koktelom u ruci, svi su nasmejani,

stvaralački proces na licu mesta,

u očima posetioca,

oseća se vatra kako iz očiju plamti, dok se na slamčicu ispija koktel da ugasi taj žar leta,

interakcija na licu mesta,

da

dođite da posmatramo taj proces sa pogledom na plavetnilo bazena na po kojim umetničkim radovima

dođite da gazimo po slamčicama kao po laticama ruže, dođite i da ispričamo,

te letnje priče pored bazena, sa koktelima u rukama nasmejani

Belgrade Art Show organizuje još jedan Art Week i to od 03-10 septembra u Ostavinskoj galeriji.

 

Belgrade Art Show: Subverter Music and Art Project

Umetnički festival „Belgrade Art Show“ već 7 godina predstavlja platformu promocije svih vidova umetnosti u Beogradu, Srbiji i zemalja regiona. Za ovih 7 godina Belgrade Art Show je publici predstavio preko 600 umetnika kroz različite događaje i promocije multimedijalnog i medijskog karaktera.

 

Publici će biti predstavljena umetnička dela kineskog umetnika The Weiy.

Na ovoj izložbi fotografija biće izložena 21 fotografija.

Takođe publika će moći da čuje i 6 pesama ovog umetnika.

 

Otvaranje je 03 septembra u 19h.

 

Kreator festivala „Belgrade Art Show“ je pravnik Pavle Knežević koji kroz svoju pravničku aktivnost dugi niz godina pomaže umetnike kroz zaštitu autorskih prava i intelektualne svojine, a od početka 2021. do Avgusta '21 radio je na poziciji sekretara Udruženja likovnih umetnika Srbije (ULUS) i svoj doprinos kulturi Srbije daje i kroz rad u ovom reprezentativnom udruženju.

 

A Letter From The Subverter

 

When I was young, I was marginalised by the people around me for being gay and a rebel. When the teacher forced the students to shave their hair, I refused. When the teacher represented an unquestionable authority, I challenged them. When I felt imprisoned by all these restrictions, even as a small child, I climbed over the high wall of the school to escape. I cut and bloodied my legs when I landed, but I didn't feel pain, only the joy of freedom.

 

I am an outsider. This seed has been deeply buried in my heart. From that moment on, I chose the road less travelled by. I knew that I wanted to use art and music to express myself. I want all people like me in this society to know that they are not alone. But the media in my country is heavily censored, to the point where you can’t mention anything the government doesn’t allow you to say. Even the smallest indicators of individuality or freedom of thought are suppressed. Because of this, many music companies refused to get involved with my work because they could run into serious trouble. And so could I. I have all this raging fire in me that I can't express. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage in total darkness.

So I dropped out of school, packed my bags and travelled to dozens of countries alone, meeting and living with the local artists. I experienced the harmony and integration between politics, culture and art, and saw them in conflict and dialogue. At this time, I became an explorer.

This experience nourished the seeds in my heart and they have finally sprouted. I want to show everything I have observed through art and music. I started the Subverter Music and Art Project. This includes 9 original songs combined with an art exhibition depicting ideas found in each track. The use of masks in each picture symbolizes the unity of people of different races, nations and cultures under oppression, and shows how they can transcend boundaries and subvert old social structures. My work aims to express the conflicting energies of bondage and liberation, darkness and light, oppression and subversion.

Through this project, I want to explore the problems in the world, such as the rise in anti-human, illiberal politics, endless wars between countries, and discrimination against minorities. I see people being oppressed for demanding their rights, while lawyers, artists and journalists are arrested. I see people hurting each other because of racism, homophobia and inequality. Many countries are promoting more and more nationalism and hatred towards others. They are trying to divide us, to silence us and to frighten us. We need a better world!

I want to provoke people into thinking - we can change our society. Every one of our voices matters. The circulation of the voice is an energy that will never disappear.
